Our Story

Our Journey Together

Our love story has been written in passport stamps and midnight flights, in street food shared in markets we couldn’t pronounce, and in the quiet moments between adventures when we looked at each other and knew. We knew this was it.

From boarding airplanes to jumping out of them, from building businesses to working side by side for causes we love, our life together has always been rooted in movement, purpose, and a shared belief that the best adventures are the ones that mean something.

Our work has taken us around the globe, but no matter where we found ourselves, in the middle of a new country, a new project, or a new dream, we kept choosing the same thing: each other.

So it only made sense that one of the biggest moments of our lives happened while we were already on the way somewhere.

During a long layover in Egypt, with the pyramids rising behind us, Jon asked Amber a question that felt like the perfect beginning to forever:

“Will you go on this wild adventure with me?”

Now Boarding...

Time to pack your bags, or at least your cocktail attire.

Whether you are traveling across town or crossing state lines, we are so grateful you are making the journey to celebrate with us. Think of this weekend as a little safari-inspired escape, no passport required.

We are planning an evening filled with love, laughter, good food, and just enough adventure to make it feel like you have been transported somewhere wild and beautiful.

What we ask of you

We have everything we need. We have each other, and we have you. But there is something you can give that would mean more to us than anything wrapped in a bow.

If you know Jon and Amber, you know The Littlest Heroes. Because that's where this love story started.

Many years ago, a childhood cancer diagnosis struck Jon's family. The Littlest Heroes stepped in, covering the gaps that a childhood cancer diagnosis tears open in a family's life. Jon watched two working parents nearly lose their car, their lifeline to treatment, because the bills don't stop when the diagnosis comes. The Littlest Heroes showed up when it mattered most. For his family, they were the safety net, reminding them that no one fights alone.

Years later, he joined the organization to repay that kindness. Then he brought Amber in. Between the families served and the burdens lifted, they found each other.

For the last decade, they've poured their whole hearts into The Littlest Heroes and the families it serves. They have seen firsthand how childhood cancer affects every part of a family’s life. And they have also seen what happens when a family realizes they are not alone.

The Littlest Heroes serves thousands of children and families facing childhood cancer each year. Providing emergency financial assistance, meals, monthly groceries, hospital parking, and the steady assurance that someone is standing in their corner.

No family should have to choose between their child’s treatment and keeping the lights on. And no family should have to face childhood cancer alone.

This cause is not separate from our love story. It is our love story.

There is no better way for us to celebrate our marriage than by helping families who are walking through one of the hardest seasons imaginable.

In lieu of gifts, we are asking our guests to make a donation in our honor to The Littlest Heroes. Any amount honors the kids we care so deeply about.
